Hip Service represents a specialized approach to addressing hip-related conditions, offering modern patient management to identify the most effective treatment, along with connections to expert centers abroad for cases that cannot be treated within Greece. Dr. Alexandros Tzaveas is a hip joint specialist with advanced training in internationally recognized centers. He provides comprehensive management of your condition, including rare and complex hip pathologies. He serves as the Vice President of the Hellenic Arthroscopy Association and possesses extensive knowledge and experience in both open and arthroscopic hip surgery. Dr. Tzaveas is also dedicated to education and research, teaching as an Assistant Professor at the English-speaking Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. We address complex and multifactorial hip issues, whether intra-articular or extra-articular in nature, with a particular focus on younger patients with non-arthritic hip conditions (young adult hip).

The head of our clinic is Dr. Alexandros P. Tzaveas, a distinguished orthopedic surgeon with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions and hip injuries. His approach is grounded in personalized care and patient safety. By attending global and pan-European hip-focused conferences annually, he remains at the forefront of innovation and advanced surgical techniques in the field.
The smooth operation of our clinic is supported by a skilled and dedicated team. Katerina is responsible for administrative support, ensuring efficient appointment scheduling and management of administrative procedures. Theodora provides patient guidance and accurate information throughout every stage of treatment. She also manages the clinic’s social media, marketing promotions, and collaborations. Evangelia assists with secretarial and administrative duties, contributing to the overall workflow of the clinic.
